Primary Responsibilities:

Share responsibility with the Materiel Leader for systems design and engineering effort  management in phases such as development, production, sustainment, and deployment for select projects within AFLCMC/EB. Key duties include leading the initial development of digital WOSA engineering design, defining component transition plans to digital and evolving mediums, and developing acquisition strategies to optimize the use of data collected on each component and subsystem. Support the creation of strategic plans for emerging classified projects, including analyzing, managing, and supporting advanced systems studies. Analyze science and technology capability lifecycles and facilitate the transition of capabilities. Collect, organize, and interpret technical data and information. Develop and analyze project status, risks, opportunities, schedules, and milestones. Coordinate and facilitate program meetings and reviews, prepare briefings for program leadership, and represent leadership at various meetings, providing feedback and recommendations as needed.

 

Required Qualifications:

·         12+ years of experience in Weapon/Platform Program Management, leading development and production efforts

·         Bachelor's degree (4-year), in  science/engineering (Electromagnetic or EE Focus), from an accredited university or                college

·         Masters in Engineering field ideal (EE ideal)

·         Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project)

·         Active Secret Clearance; Top Secret clearance preferred

 

Desired Qualifications:

·         Experience supporting AFMC/AFLCMC EB Programs or joint weapon programs/platforms at the highest classification              levels

·         Technical degree, APDP PM Level III, PMP, MBA, or other advanced degree preferred

·         SCI and SAP eligibility

 

Location:

·         Eglin AFB. FL

 

Travel:

·         4-6 times annually
