Position Purpose: The Senior Master Scheduler
will manage and execute a production schedule for a multiple
work center manufacturing and test facility. Responsible for weekly schedules and monthly and yearly outlooks by
leveraging an ERP/MRP system in support of the Factory Plan. Be able to assess work center, resource and material loading to meet work
order demand dates. Must be able to interpret business priorities, company long-range plan; load material demand into ERP system using standardized
priority scale, and to report those scheduled priorities to applicable work centers, manufacturing, and test
team members. Responsible for reporting to PMs and senior Management.

Pay Range: $75,000 - $150,000

(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for monitoring non-contractual (CN22) demand and monthly demand health reporting. 
  • Process shipment transactions within ERP to support Logistics team. 
  • Able to identify critical path, identify and mitigate bottlenecks and resource constraints as needed.
    Provide recommendations to support level and surge loading. 
     
  • Responsible for reviewing and facilitating expedite requests. 
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of MRP-related data and estimates to enhance
    planned schedule accuracy.
     
  • Work
    cross-functionally with manufacturing engineering and planning teams to ensure schedules are understood and adhered to.
     
  • Responsible for scheduling of unplanned manufacturing (rework) associated with manufacturing/design/test deviations (NCRs), and development of best practices around rework queues. 
  • Responsible for reviewing daily work center WIP reports and taking proactive steps to mitigate delayed and aging orders. 
  • Lead Daily Scheduling Tier Meeting. 
  • Responsible for ongoing work center capacity and manufacturing time review (standard queue and move) to support the accurate creation of factory Lead Times and Routings. 
  • Monitoring of accuracy of routers to support factory success. 
  • Responsible for work order data integrity and how it applies to the scheduling process. 
  • Create and maintain SOPs and associated training documentation for MS roles and responsibilities. 
  • Other responsibilities as assigned 

Preferred Experience 

  • Knowledge and understanding of scheduling theory and how it applies to a high-volume
    manufacturing and test facility.
     
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings and bill of materials. 
  • Experience in program planning, production planning and material management 
  • Experience interfacing with multiple internal organizations to interpret business priorities and
    product schedule needs. Ability to coordinate and prioritize across multiple programs and products as work orders flow
    through the production and test process.
     
  • Experience educating manufacturing personnel on MRP scheduling 
  • Experience with data analytics techniques using Microsoft PowerBI, Excel, etc. 
  • Strong experience in using an ERP/MRP system and its underlying principles 
  • Experience in the Aerospace/Defense industry preferred 

Required Qualifications/Education: 

  • Bachelors / associate’s degree 
  • Minimum of
    8 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or scheduling environment
     
  • Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education 



Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines. BCT anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.  However, factors such as candidate flow and business necessity may require BCT to shorten or extend the application window.
